I guess it was pretty obvious he was returning anyway, but I'm glad they revealed him so people can stop asking. Although even though Sonic and Mario are once again in the same game along with dozens of other franchise characters, we still won't get to see any story or character interactions between any of them except for in battle. My heart broke when I read this http://www.blisteredthumbs.net/2013/07/smash-bros-4-dropping-story-mode-cutscenes/ along with my dreams.
I was hoping that in Subspace Emissary they would actually make a cinematic cutscene showing Mario and Sonic meet and fight and maybe team up. Instead, I got a god damn maze that took up HALF of adventure mode and Sonic was turned into a deus ex machina. I guess I could understand because they probably rushed the game and added Sonic last. As soon as I heard of SSB4 my hopes re-iginited and I thought maybe just MAYBE they'd redeem themselves in Adventure Mode and add that one moment everyone wanted to see i

Mega Man is in Smash Bros! :D I didn't post anything yesterday because my computer is busted from spilling a tiny bit of water on it. -_- I'm actually using my Wii U to write this very journal.
